Our Bespoke Design Service
With our significant investment into the latest design software, we are now able to produce HD photo quality imagery of any kitchen or wardrobe design. We are more than happy to provide this bespoke design service to our customers, which also provides you detailed plans that you can even take to other installers.
Each design is fully customisable, with any colour and any style available for you to choose from. Unlike many larger retailers all of our carcassing and door stiles are completely interchangeable in their finish and sizing. This allows us to give you totally bespoke product.

Our Customer Journey
There are numerous ways people contact and visit us, but in the main this is usually through referral.
Each client journey starts with a free design consultation. Your project may be at the stage where architectural drawings have been completed, and you wish to know what the best kitchen layout could/should be. This might result in a window or door moving slightly, to acheive what you wish, and therefore may affect a planning application.
You may have builders starting with immediate effect and your project has a 3 month completion time, or you may just want to modernise your existing kitchen without any extension or major building works. You may just wish to pop into our studio to see what we have to offer.
Whether we are working off plan or coming round for a site survey, we are able to adapt to whichever scenario. If you are on a short lead time, our made to order kitchens can be delivered in as little as an unprecedented three weeks. We even have ranges that can be onsite in 72hrs.
Step 1 - Design
Our Designs…. Inspirational, attention to detail, pride, hard work and a lot of love.
Our first port of call would be a design brief. We have a questionnaire which one of our design team will run through with you to work out your wants and needs, and certainly what you don’t want.
Some clients like to share thier own design ideas with us, and some rely on us for total design inspiration.
We believe that great design needs care and attention. The design should be tailored to you and your needs, not something that is run of the mill.
There are standard sizes within the industry which comprises of approximately 60 cabinets. Those cabinets with the options of doors and drawers can multiply up to approx. 120 combinations.
Great and beautiful kitchens can be acheived using standard cabinets and doors, but there will always be compromise, and sometimes significant. At THKC, we adopt a very differenty approach.
Our main ranges of cabinets and doors are made to order wihch means they can be made to measure (without the price tag) and therefore we have almost unlimited design capabilities.
Our designers will then work on a first draft for you that is considered and tailored to your brief. We provide you with a set of high quality CGI renders of your design so you can clearly visualise what your kitchen will look like.
We will then look to your feedback, make necessary alterations, and then invite you into the studio to run through any final amendments, and choose your final colours, finishes, worktops, appliances and accessories.
Step 2 - Quotation
Once we have a design that has been authorised by you, we then hand this over to out quotation and operations team. The team will look to compile all the components required for your kitchen to provide you with a comprehensive quote.
Step 3 - Production
Every kitchen that we supply is manufactured to order, each is unique to each customer we work with.
Our made to order kitchen cabinets, the foundation and backbone to your kitchen, are specified and designed using the best materials on the market.
Our entry level made to order cabinets are made from a high-density super board made by Finsa, one of the world leading board manufacturers. We also offer fully colour coded, raw oak, ash, walnut vaneer, birch ply, painted smooth or grained cabinets, laquered oak or walnut veneer options. All our cabinets are 18mm thick throughout making them exceptionally strong and durable.
Each of our doors and decorative products are made to the highest standards. Each type of door is produced with the same care and attention you would expect.
From the quality of the materials selected to the final finish, attention to detail is carried all the way through the production process.
Step 4 - Installation
The installation of a kitchen is the final important part of each kitchen we work on. Attention to detail and accuracy is paramount, and all our installers take exceptional pride in their work.
A kitchen should last a lifetime and this culminates with a quality installation.
In addition to this, our installers will always go the extra mile to ensure the process is smooth and considerate to each of our customers need.

This kitchen provides a real example of the costs associated with a fully customised and personal kitchen design. It incorporates 18 base units in diverse sizes, including specialised units for ovens, sinks, refrigerators, food storage, and wine collections.
